Annika Jakes studied at New York University's Tisch Photography and Imaging Department. 

Her work has previously been displayed at the Dali Museum in St. Petersburg, Florida. Her project, Dileab, will be on display at Tisch's Gulf + Western Gallery and the Calumet Gallery in New York this spring. 

She is currently living in New York City.
